The Islington Media Clubhouse offers a range of exciting, industry-standard training courses in contemporary media, including film, radio and website production, digital photography and desktop publishing.
We also provide training for companies, charities and community groups in newsletter, magazine and film production.
Springboard Media is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing friendly, professional, free/affordable training, for residents of Islington and Hackney.
Our main objective is to provide a creative voice for those excluded from access to mainstream learning resources in a friendly and supportive environment.
Everyone is welcome at The Media Clubhouse but we are particularly interested in applications from young people, disadvantaged and under-represented groups and the unemployed.
The charity works in partnership with a wide range of charities and community groups including, Connexions, the National Children's Bureau, Film and Video Workshop and Carr Gomm. We also have strong industry links including ITV, BBC, 1185 Films, Slack Alice Films, Riverfront Media, Glory Hall Designs and Coletivo.
